Carefully Controlled Chaos

Multitasking is sometimes just carefully controlled chaos. This morning, I stepped back from myself for a second to see how someone else would see me, and it made me laugh. Moving fast, putting on some sort of clothing that matched, walking the dog (twice before 7:30 AM !!), making three breakfasts, packing lunchboxes, doing my morning exercises, driving children to school…..all before 8 AM. I have read articles about how women are supposed to multitask well. All I know is that “when it all comes down, it’s an awful lot to do.” (from Hats, Amy Grant, Heart in Motion)

But now that things have slowed, and I’m sitting here chilled at my computer, there is a happy sense of getting it all done. That God gave me enough “umph” this morning to go. Praying for all of you this Monday that you are getting what you need to done. And that you can relax for a moment afterwards. 🙂 Slainte, Lisa

The Bird Making Bad Choices, or the Bird Needing Glasses

I saw this picture on www.irishcentral.com yesterday, and it cracked me up. This bird obviously did not see the sign properly, or he just decided to disregard the rule and see what happened if he sat there. I’m guessing that nothing happened, and now all the birds will be doing it today. Where will it all end? Birds will be sitting on signs everywhere. A small conundrum for your Tuesday….can you name this towel animal? He/she/it? was made for us on a cruise a few years ago, and I’m still unsure what it is.

Would You Rather…The Actual

If you had to opt for one over the other, which would you choose?

1. Would you rather go a)paragliding or b) riding in an open cockpit airplane?

2. Would you rather a) eat an entire pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream or b) eat 16 peanut butter cookies fresh out of the oven?

3. Would you rather a) fly to the Fiji Islands tonight for 2 weeks or b) sail on a yacht to 3 different Caribbean islands, your time frame?
