Today is the birthday of my knight. I am you, you are me, we are us.
Conquer your day and year ahead with gusto and courage, my love. Lisa

There is an old saying, “You will find what you are looking for.” This reminds me of the time my husband and I were looking for a certain castle near the Burren. We thought we had followed the inconspicuous signs correctly, and we pulled up in front of an impressive building full of hope and upcoming adventure.
We knocked and tried to gain access to said castle, and finally a very nice gentleman came to the door and asked if he could help us. We asked to take a tour of the castle, and he politely told us that this was a private home. 🙂
In our minds, it was a castle, and looked like a castle. To the man who lived there, it is his castle. So, I guess it’s a castle.
What we look for is often what we find. Good or bad….a lot of times it is how we choose to look at something. Love, Lisa
P.S. By the way, if you are reading this, and this happens to be your home….it is beautiful! 🙂
“If God gives you the strength, see it through to the end. Mind ye, ‘twould come harder on you to travel the fifteen miles back to your starting point than to walk the thousand-odd miles yet before you.” Last of the Donkey Pilgrims, Kevin O’Hara, c2004
Yes, I’m reading it again. (fourth time through) And yes, I’m loving it again. Who can say what it is about a certain book that makes you love it? All I know is that I’m happy, and smiling, and chuckling just like the first time I read it. And I’m glad of it. Thank you, Kevin O’Hara.
So you might be hearing nuggets of it this week as I rediscover favorite lines along the way. Yay for donkeys! 🙂 Slainte, Lisa
