Love is…..
…..seeing the face of the one you love, blind to everything else around.

That is me when I was there, and when I see this photo now. Beauty everywhere, but all I can see is that smile.
Tell the ones you love you love them. Love, Lisa

There is an old saying, “You will find what you are looking for.” This reminds me of the time my husband and I were looking for a certain castle near the Burren. We thought we had followed the inconspicuous signs correctly, and we pulled up in front of an impressive building full of hope and upcoming adventure.
We knocked and tried to gain access to said castle, and finally a very nice gentleman came to the door and asked if he could help us. We asked to take a tour of the castle, and he politely told us that this was a private home. 🙂
In our minds, it was a castle, and looked like a castle. To the man who lived there, it is his castle. So, I guess it’s a castle.
What we look for is often what we find. Good or bad….a lot of times it is how we choose to look at something. Love, Lisa
P.S. By the way, if you are reading this, and this happens to be your home….it is beautiful! 🙂
When I am down, music never fails to lift me up. One of the greatest gifts God ever gave us is music. I would like to give away some of my CDs for free to anyone who is interested. If you would like a free digital copy of my latest CD, An Unexpected Journey, please send me a message below with your email, and I will send you a code to download it. Or if you prefer a physical CD, send me your address, and I will mail you one. 🙂 With so many negative things everywhere, I just wanted to offer one small positive thing from my corner of the world.

I love castles, but they can be rather dark affairs inside. When the light floods in, through an open doorway, exposed crack, or window, it is a glorious thing. You realize how very much you were craving the light, needing it, waiting for it.
Here is Donegal Castle in Ireland to illustrate. Note to where your eye is drawn. The light illuminates all else, reveals the beauty.

I can focus on the darkness, or I can focus on the light. And I choose the light. Love, Lisa
“The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” -John 1:5
“I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” (Jesus) – John 12:46

Power of God crashing right up against each other.
The waves, relentless in their pursuit of the shore, rolling, tumbling, crashing.
The rocks, steady, ancient, solid, holding fast.
The wind, roaring, searching, cleansing.
I will fix my mind today on the things that do not, will not, change. God things.
Love, Lisa
