Deep Calls to Deep

Certain verses and quotes speak to me profoundly, even though I don’t quite grasp the entirety of what it is trying to say.  At the risk of being redundant, they are too deep.  Like God.  I think I understand Him, but I really only just see the surface, the beginnings of wonderfulness.  There is so much more than what we can see and understand, and that is exciting.  The future is thrilling in its uncertain discoveries.  Comment below and share your thoughts on this verse, how it makes you feel, what thoughts come to your mind.  Blessings, Lisa

A bit of hypothetical fun for your Monday morning….presented for your consideration is a small cave at the base of a St. Lucia cliff.  A small boat takes you to this opening, and gives you the opportunity to explore the unknown cave and will wait for your (possible) return.   Take the poll below, and I’ll let you know what I would do later.  (although you can probably guess  🙂  )  Slainte, Lisa

Down the Path

DSCN1227Here are two pathway pictures taken in the Elizabethan Gardens, Manteo, NC.  Do you prefer the winding path where you can’t see the end, or the straight path, where the end is clearly visible?  I have to say that I prefer the winding one, although in life, I always feel that I want to know what’s going to happen.  But maybe I really don’t…life is so much the better for the surprises, the “wow, I didn’t expect that”, the bends and turns and beauty discovered after time.  And so this is what my brain is thinking about on a Monday morning….I think another cup of coffee is in order.  😉  Slainte, Lisa
