Flowers, rocks, and sea
Stillness envelopes me
Beauty comforts and frees
Peace of God eternally

…..has got to be a tie between two. Doolin and Portmagee.
Doolin has wonderful a wonderful music shop, pubs, music, and the roar of the ocean at its doorstep.
Portmagee has the Skelligs right offshore, puffins about, towering hills behind the village, fishing boats in the harbor, and great pubs also.
Yet I know my favorite Irish village is also the ones I haven’t discovered yet…the ones that are waiting for the next trip and the one thereafter. 🙂 Slainte, Lisa
I always get a little sad when summer is leaving. I am a summer girl…love walking outside with no coat, no gloves….love the water…..love the feeling of the heat on my skin and my face. But whenever I’m sad about someone or something leaving, I don’t say “goodbye.” I say “see you soon!” And the things I love are still there, they are just out of sight for a little while. Meanwhile, I will try to embrace the cooler air and sweaters re-emerging from dark recessed places of my closet. The wind will hit my face; I’ll breathe deeply; life is a wonderful gift. Blessings, Lisa

“Watch that wing! Pull your nose up! Keep on the outlook for fish, and don’t forget….have fun!” ~Teacher Bird
My three birds are have flown out of their nest into various schools this morning. Praying for their day to be one of joy and newness and friendship and learning. And for them to have fun on the journey. 🙂 Slainte, Lisa
