Sea and Sky
God has placed images all around us to show us how to proceed.
I can look at the ground beneath my feet, the pebbles that trip.
Or I can look at the sea, the sky, the clouds, the blue.
I can look forward in hope of the future, or look longingly backwards toward the past.
I am constantly presented these choices….hope or despair. Trust or fear.
The sea and the sky are calling me onward.

Friday Music
If you haven’t heard Benny Andersson play the piano, you are missing something wonderful. He is the Swedish composer behind ABBA, Chess, Mamma Mia!, and Kristina fran Duvemala.
His album, Piano, was released in 2017, and is on near constant repeat in my house and in my car. Melodies and piano, simple and complex all at the same time. Sparkling, brooding, hopeful, full of room for the imagination to run wild. Music that makes me want to sit down and play the piano immediately.
Do yourself a favor and get a copy. Enjoy, and have a wonderful, blessed weekend.

I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that God is real and that He cares about me. And about you.
