All the Feelings

Life is a roller coaster of days and emotions.  Good days, hard days, crazy busy days, happy, sad, confused.  The list goes on and on.

But I am so thankful for all the feelings.  All the wonderful crazy feelings that I feel.  What a gift from God.  Because I would rather feel and love and hurt and cry than feel nothing at all.

This day, this picture, was one of those feelings days.  Crying, laughing, loving, and wondering at majesty of creation all within seconds.  Imprinted in my memory forever.

Spring Will Come

Virginia in the spring

Winter is difficult for those of us with chronic pain.  Cold does not agree with already stiff and painful joints.  But every step we are taking is bringing us one step closer to Spring.  It is right there, beneath the ground, ready to spring forth with blossoms, breezes, wafts of fragrance.

New life.  New dreams.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,

for His compassions never fail.

They are new every morning;

Great is your faithfulness.

I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion;

Therefore I will wait for him.’ ”

-Lamentations 3:22-24

Courage of a Rabbit

Who shows the most courage?

A lion being a lion?

Or a rabbit, living life in the midst of lions?

The courage that a rabbit shows, hopping through grassy fields in search of a good nibble, having relatively small defenses, is great courage indeed.

If you ever feel more rabbit than lion, take heart.  You are stronger and more courageous than you think❤,
