The Mist and the Mystery

One of my favorite days spent in Ireland was this day. County Kerry, forgotten pathway leading into the woods, abandoned stone house with a large and friendly tree growing inside. We felt that we were the only people who had ever discovered this place, that it was our secret house in our hidden forest. The mist only added to the mystery and magic of the day. The Bird Making Bad Choices, or the Bird Needing Glasses

I saw this picture on www.irishcentral.com yesterday, and it cracked me up. This bird obviously did not see the sign properly, or he just decided to disregard the rule and see what happened if he sat there. I’m guessing that nothing happened, and now all the birds will be doing it today. Where will it all end? Birds will be sitting on signs everywhere. A small conundrum for your Tuesday….can you name this towel animal? He/she/it? was made for us on a cruise a few years ago, and I’m still unsure what it is.

Frog or Toad or some related amphibian
