It’s easy for me to fear, to worry, to fret, to listen to too many news reports. It’s hard to focus on what will take away that fear. But when I do, it leaves, that sense of foreboding that claws at your insides. When I keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, what is really important, that fear leaves and love remains. Blessings, Lisa

Through Jesus, eternal life.
I always get a little sad when summer is leaving. I am a summer girl…love walking outside with no coat, no gloves….love the water…..love the feeling of the heat on my skin and my face. But whenever I’m sad about someone or something leaving, I don’t say “goodbye.” I say “see you soon!” And the things I love are still there, they are just out of sight for a little while. Meanwhile, I will try to embrace the cooler air and sweaters re-emerging from dark recessed places of my closet. The wind will hit my face; I’ll breathe deeply; life is a wonderful gift. When I sit beside the ocean, I hear power, I hear peace, I hear God. The power of a wave, even a small wave, as it crashes on top of you is amazingly strong. The pull of the water as it retreats back into the sea takes all in its path. The sound of the waves on the shore is all encompassing, drowning out the voices surrounding, the worries, the fears. Like Jesus. He draws all of us to himself; He wants all of us to be with Him, to listen to His voice, feel peace, feel encompassing protection. Listen….can you hear Him? Blessings, Lisa
