Created to Dream

“Never lose sight of the desires God has placed within you.”  ~Anonymous

“I don’t want to see you hesitate, when you’ve been called to explore

And I don’t want to see you weary, when you’ve been made to soar…

In case you didn’t know, you have permission to dream.” ~Enation, Permission to Dream

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which
God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:14 (NIV)

It’s easy to get down, be uninspired, to be bogged down in the details.  But God has created you in His image…a creative, inspired, alive, and dreaming person who is one of a kind.  Rejoice!  Lisa

Dreams and Snowflakes

DSCN2986

We are having snow this morning….thick, wet, huge snowflakes that are melting as soon as they hit the warmer pavement.  Which is great with me, as I am a pretty uncourageous snow driver.  The snow is fading away quickly, like a good dream that disappears into thin air as you awaken.

But some things, the really good things, never fade away.  The love of a special person, the faithfulness of God to us,  the promises that God has made in His word that always come to pass, the hope of eternity spent in peace and joy and beauty with Jesus.  These things will never pass away, never melt, never fade.  I am thankful for these things this morning.  Slainte, Lisa

Wishful Thinking

With St. Patrick’s Day approaching on Monday, and stores everywhere filled to the brink with green tacky leprechaun-y things, my mind naturally turns to……..Ireland!  I bet you never would have guessed that from me, huh?!  🙂  Which of course leads me to the time-consuming YouTube, which of course led me to this driving in Ireland video.  It’s supposed to be humorous tutorial, but it just succeeds in making me long to be driving over there.  We spend so much of our trips in cars, squeezing down the narrow roads, always amazed at some of the roads we travel upon, and even more amazed at the places they lead us to.  Enjoy indulging in a little wishful thinking with me.  Slainte, Lisa
