Angels

“May God grant you always…
A sunbeam to warm you,
A moonbeam to charm you,
A sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you.” ~Irish Blessing

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” ~Psalm 91:11

“Are not the angels all ministering spirits,  servants sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” ~Hebrews 1:14

Quiet, listen….the things of God are all around us.  We just have to be still, listen, seek; we will find.  Blessings, Lisa

Music of Angels

One of the most exciting gifts in life is music.   And the angels at Christmas filled the sky with singing and rejoicing. “Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host (angels) appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.’ ”  (Luke 2:13-14) It must have been a wonder to hear; isn’t it cool that God gave humble shepherds the front row, best seats in the house to the biggest concert ever.  🙂

Here is a wonderful, peaceful, and restive rendition of “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear/The First Noel” performed by Orla Fallon on the harp and vocals.  (formerly of Celtic Woman)  Now I’m not a huge Celtic Woman fan, but she is very talented.  A small glimpse of the amazing music we’ll hear one day with the heavenly host.  I pray a peaceful day for you.  Slainte, Lisa

Riding the Sea on Angels’ Wings

I love to ride upon the sea, whether by ship, boat, boogie board, or by kicking my own two feet.  The feel of the sea spray on my face, the gentle or not so gentle rolling of the waves under my body, the knowing that the ocean goes on and on with its beauty.

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands. ‘Because he loves me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.  He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”  (Psalm 91:11,12a,14-15)

Riding the sea upon the wings of God’s angels; may His peace, contentment, and joy be yours today.  He loves you.  Slainte, Lisa
