One of the most exciting gifts in life is music. And the angels at Christmas filled the sky with singing and rejoicing. “Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host (angels) appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.’ ” (Luke 2:13-14) It must have been a wonder to hear; isn’t it cool that God gave humble shepherds the front row, best seats in the house to the biggest concert ever. 🙂
Here is a wonderful, peaceful, and restive rendition of “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear/The First Noel” performed by Orla Fallon on the harp and vocals. (formerly of Celtic Woman) Now I’m not a huge Celtic Woman fan, but she is very talented. A small glimpse of the amazing music we’ll hear one day with the heavenly host. I pray a peaceful day for you. Slainte, Lisa
I cannot think of a better song to be going through my head for the rest of the day. Thanks for sharing.
How glorious! Felt like I had a glimpse of part of the heavenly host today!
It is an amazing arrangement and setting.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed it. 🙂
That was thrilling….! Praying a peaceful day for you too!!
🙂 Thanks, it was a good day.
Beautiful sounds and a very pretty setting.
I agree…it totally chills me out to listen and watch. What a gift she has to be able to keep her voice so calming. I always am amazed at all the different kinds of voices that God has made. All with various cool things about them. 🙂
