The Sandy Path

940

Soft, sandy paths feel good on bare feet, but they are hard to walk on.  The sand gives way underfoot, causing all the other muscles to work harder to gain momentum.  (good workout though!)  Hard packed sand, however, is great to walk on.  Rocky paths are difficult, because you need to watch your step carefully so there are no turned ankles on the way.

No matter which type of path you’re walking today, the end of the path is worth it.  There are oceans to be seen, seagulls flying overhead, and mountain vistas abounding.  Walk the path, and hold tightly to the hand of God, who will give you the strength you need for the path you’re traveling.  Slainte, Lisa

Courageous

Harbor

I don’t know this man or his story, but he’s rowing a rather large boat with a motor attached.  If his motor fizzled out, he has a long row back to shore.  Whatever his story is, he’s not giving up.  He’s rowing.  And eventually he will get to the shore.  He’ll make it.

“Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  ~Joshua 1:9

Whatever you’re facing today, I pray God’s strength and courage for you.  For God is with you wherever you go.  Blessings, Lisa

From The Top

We made it, one step at a time, about 100 steps, and stopped…turned…looked….aaahhh!  Totally worth it.  Whatever staircase is facing you today, don’t think too much about how big it is, or how many steps you have to go.  Just take that first step, then another, then rest awhile, and continue.  You will reach the top eventually; there’s no rush.  And then the view from the top….aaahhh!  🙂  Slainte, Lisa

summer strength

I love this quote.  Strength, hope, future.  And that strength, hope and future lies in God.  He will not let me go, and He won’t let you go either.  Rest in that today.  Slainte, Lisa
