Here’s two very amusing videos I saw today on Youtube with sweet little animals “singing” Deck the Halls and jumping around to Jingle Bells. They made me smile, and hope they do the same for you! Slainte, Lisa

Our Christmas tree is full of stories, love stories. As we unpack and hang each ornament, memories flood back with each little bauble. The M&M guys that Joshua loved as a child, the sparkly snowflakes that Nina made which always lose sparkles each year but still seem to stay nice, the pretty ballerina that Amy looks forward to seeing each year. I’m sure all of you have your favorite “love story” ornaments…please feel free to share your story. 🙂 Meanwhile, here are some pictures of some of our favorites. Have fun making memories this weekend. Slainte, Lisa
I had the most amazing dream last night. I was running, barefoot, quickly and effortlessly, on very soft grass towards blue water. Smiling and laughing and generally feeling that feeling that you feel when you’re a kid and have no troubles. (yes, I realize I just used “feeling” too many times) No worries, no aches or pains, no thought to the future other than reaching that water. Dreams are funny; sometimes good, sometimes weird, sometimes scary, but always usually interesting. My favorite dreams always have something to do with travel or movement; my favorite flying dreams, where I flap my arms and take off into the sky; the dreams where I am getting ready for a trip, and now this awesome running whiz dream. 🙂 So the point of today’s blog? Hmmm….must think, must think. No, I don’t want to think; I just want to be happy and remember that feeling of the grass under my feet. Be happy today. Slainte, Lisa
Walking to the ocean, whipped by the wind and salt and mist. The closer you get, the more you feel the resistance and push of the wind. Crossing the top of the dune, you see the angry but beautiful waves. Covered with sea foam and white caps, with no discernable rhythm to the waves. Only sheer noise and crashing and power. God’s power. You hear Him again, telling you that He is in control, even of a seemingly uncontrollable ocean. You breathe deeply, the way you’re only able to at the ocean. The wind almost takes that breath away, but then you feel it. Relief and peace and clarity. This world is a gift from the One who loves you, but yet there is so much more than what you can see. He has made more, and you will be there with Him one day, and that deep breath will go on and on and on. Slainte, Lisa
