The beauty of this video I found reduced me to happy tears, tears of relief and love and cleansing. I pray that you know without a shadow of a doubt that God is very near to you, right now. Always. Blessings, Lisa

Grains of Sand
Have you ever really, really looked at sand? Picking it up in your hand, some sifts through your fingers, but many grains remain. Different looks, shapes, sizes, colors, all working together to make up what we know to be sand. And millions upon billions upon gazillions of grains of them on any given beach.
If you ever feel unloved and unimportant, think about this….Psalm 139 says that “How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. (v17-18) That’s a whole lot of thoughts from God towards you and towards me. You are loved; you do matter; you are important in this whole big world. Blessings for your Monday, Lisa

What Angels See
Amy Grant has had such a great influence in my life as a songwriter, a singer, and as a Christian. Back in college, I heard her blaring out from a dorm neighbor’s room, and I liked it. I didn’t listen to any Christian music back then, but I liked this. Her music helped me to understand more of who Jesus really was, and opened me up to truth. Hope this song from her new album How Mercy Looks from Here is encouraging to you today, “If I Could See.” Great album. Blessings, Lisa
Remnants, Memories
This is an abandoned home or inn nestled into the Gap of Dunloe in Ireland. It was grand in size, and must have been a fine place in its heyday. I love places like this; not sure why, but ruins always interest me more than perfectly preserved houses. I don’t know who lived here; I wish I did, but someone remembers them and tells fine stories about good times spent within these walls. Slainte, Lisa
P.S. Moral of the story? None of us are perfect; all of us have “crumbly bits.” But “do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16) Hope indeed. 🙂
