I’m late, but not really….the post can wait, the weather couldn’t. 🙂 We had to take advantage of the warm autumn air while we have it. Warm sun, crunchy leaves, perfect blue sky, breeze that lifts your hair and takes it on a little trip….what could be better in November? Thanking God; He is so good. Blessings for your day, and praying you’ve had a great one. Lisa

Summer Says See You Soon!
I always get a little sad when summer is leaving. I am a summer girl…love walking outside with no coat, no gloves….love the water…..love the feeling of the heat on my skin and my face. But whenever I’m sad about someone or something leaving, I don’t say “goodbye.” I say “see you soon!” And the things I love are still there, they are just out of sight for a little while. Meanwhile, I will try to embrace the cooler air and sweaters re-emerging from dark recessed places of my closet. The wind will hit my face; I’ll breathe deeply; life is a wonderful gift. Blessings, Lisa
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.” ~Ecclesiastes 3:1
Fresh Wind of Change
Usually change terrifies me….but God is doing something new in me. Changes are coming in our family, and I’m feeling rather exhilarated, excited, anticipatory. (Plus, I’m wanting to use flowery adjectives, which is not such a good thing. haha) New schools, new job, new challenges and schedules. Not boring, not predictable, and definitely not the same-old, same-old. 🙂 The winds of change are blowing, but I’m not afraid because my good God is in the middle of it all. Blessings to you today, Lisa
Mountain in Song
“Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion.” ~Isaiah 49:13
What is singing in your corner of the world this morning? Maybe the tree that is using red, orange, and yellow as his notes of song. Maybe the green grass under your feet is shouting, “Glorious day!” Maybe the sky and the clouds are playing with blues and whites and grays, creating a beautiful artwork of this very moment. Go ahead and add to their beauty with a song or big shout of your own! Slainte, Lisa
