Jesus promises that He is “with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b) He’s not the leaving kind. He sticks by us, no matter what we’ve done and how we’ve treated Him. He forgives if we ask. He cleanses. He gives new beginnings with no account held. And nothing, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38) Rejoice and be glad!
