If you had access to a reliable time machine, to what time in history would you transport yourself? Vote in the poll below but wait a few moments for it to load. It is taking WordPress a bit of time to load the polls for some reason. Feel free to explain your choice in the comments also. Could make for some interesting discussion. π Love, Lisa
The 1960’s was nice. But, every time I say this someone becomes extremely vocal and says, “The social situation in the 1960’s is what I am trying to correct!” But, back then people actually had some type of moral character taught to them and almost everyone practiced civility to other people. Back then the Golden Rule was what people lived by. It was how we would live.
Thanks for starting the discussion! Civility and manners…..ahhh…what wonderful things, and how much I miss them.
(I’ve noticed that neither yesterday’s survey nor today’s poll loaded on the WP Reader, but they do appear on your site itself.)
Technology and me….a difficult pairing. lol If you know how to get it to work, I would love any tips you have. π
I don’t — I’ve never tried either of those, lol, because technology and me too! but maybe another reader knows, or maybe you’d want to give a heads-up on that in the post.
Good idea!
If I could go back in time, it would definitely be in the 1950’s and 1960’s! Times were simpler then, and people were kinder and gentler. God and country and family were the important things in life. What beautiful memories! Thank you, Lisa!!
Yes, it definitely sounds like a wonderful time of history.β€
I pick the 1890s to travel back. I love the fashion, the manners, the lack of cars. I think I would tire of it after a while, but it would be Interesting to experience.
Oh without a doubt 28 AD! To actually meet Christ in a year or two! What a thought! But I think I’d have to wish to die very soon after Him, as life for Christians got way harder than I believe I could bear. Thank the Lord many lived for Him!
Great choice! It would have been amazing to be there at that time in history. I pray God gives us the strength to be strong for Him in the days to come.
