Inside the Castle Walls

DSCN3805

We all crave safety and security.  Some of us are more adventurous than others, but no matter what adventure you may take, it sure is nice to be snug inside the place you call home with a nice warm cup of tea in your hands.  Through the ages of time on this planet called Earth, people have come up with all kinds of ways to feel safe….castles, walls, ring forts, round towers, weapons, tunnels.  But there is an amazing secret, yet not secret, protection plan that never will fail.  Yes, you may get hurt sometimes, you may have pain or sickness, but nothing will happen to you that does not strengthen you and make you better.  Want to know?

Jesus.  “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.”  Nahum 1:7

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”  Psalm 34:19

“Do not be afraid.  Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today….The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”  Exodus 14:13-14

And you will be safe within his castle walls, forever.  Blessings, Lisa

Go Around Me….I’m Sleeping

Here’s a Glencolmcille sheep who has the Tuesday morning thing down well…

And yes, she didn’t move, and yes, we drove around her, being careful to miss these other two who didn’t get up either….

Chilled to the max, or maybe  still exhausted from their big weekend…

Here’s to cloudy Tuesdays!  We’re up, we’re up.  Lisa

The Story of the Guardians

Near Portnoo, overlooking Narin Beach, there are these cows.  Many lovely beach cottages line this road leading to the harbor, but these cows have a lovely piece of grass overlooking the water all to themselves.  And they seemed to be taking their babysitting duties quite seriously, as there were two lovely little calves resting peacefully between them.  No fences, no barriers, just the cows, the grass, the cliff, and the sea.  Maybe they were on holiday.  😉  Have a great day, Lisa
