Good News

jesusholdingsheep

Jesus answered, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.  I and the Father are one.”  ~John 10:28-30

How can it be?  Jesus holds me tightly, will not and cannot let me go.  I am safe, secure, and loved beyond measure.  Good news; great news!  Read some of John’s book in the Bible today….you’ll be glad.  🙂  Slainte, Lisa

Seek and Find

1082

“If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?  And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.  In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.”  ~Jesus, Matthew 18:12-14

Ever-loving, ever-seeking, ever-drawing us unto Himself.  God doesn’t stop in His pursuit.  He made us, He loves us.  Blessings, Lisa

What Love Has Done

I love this song.  The hopeful, joyful, amazing love of God….love has done an unexplainable thing.  Feeling thankful this morning.  Slainte, Lisa

  1. Window in the Skies
    U2
  2. The shackles are undone
    The bullets quit the gun
The heat that’s in the sun
Will keep us when there’s none
    The rule has been disproved
The stone it has been moved
The grave is now a groove
    All debts are removed, ooh
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
    What it’s done to me?
    Love makes strange enemies
Makes love where love may please
    Soul and its striptease
    Hate brought to its knees
    The sky over our head
We can reach it from our bed
You let me in your heart
And out of my head… head…
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
    What it’s done to me
