Good News

jesusholdingsheep

Jesus answered, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.  I and the Father are one.”  ~John 10:28-30

How can it be?  Jesus holds me tightly, will not and cannot let me go.  I am safe, secure, and loved beyond measure.  Good news; great news!  Read some of John’s book in the Bible today….you’ll be glad.  🙂  Slainte, Lisa

I walk well, follow Me

Danger there, follow Me

Listen closely, follow Me

Safely home, follow Me

“He calls his sheep by name and leads them out.  When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.”  ~John 10:3b-4

Have a wonderful weekend!  Blessings, Lisa

Dreams and Snowflakes

DSCN2986

We are having snow this morning….thick, wet, huge snowflakes that are melting as soon as they hit the warmer pavement.  Which is great with me, as I am a pretty uncourageous snow driver.  The snow is fading away quickly, like a good dream that disappears into thin air as you awaken.

But some things, the really good things, never fade away.  The love of a special person, the faithfulness of God to us,  the promises that God has made in His word that always come to pass, the hope of eternity spent in peace and joy and beauty with Jesus.  These things will never pass away, never melt, never fade.  I am thankful for these things this morning.  Slainte, Lisa

Living Water

1110

Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”  ~John 7:37-38

“Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”  ~Revelation 22:17

“For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”  ~Revelation 7:17

Encouragement this morning for me and you.  May your day be blessed with a rushing and a quenching of His water.   🙂   Lisa
