Waiting to sail upon the deep
Knowing the spray, the salt, the wind
Will wash all cares and thought away
For a time, for a day, for a moment
Waiting to sail away

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. ~Psalm 23
I pray these words bring solace and peace to your soul today. Blessings and love, Lisa
I love sand dunes almost as much as I love rocks. Dunes have many similar qualities that intrigue and comfort me: They’re usually bigger/taller than me. They provide protection and shelter. But unlike rocks that I love to climb upon and sit on, dunes change shapes. They are more delicate in their protection. They are vulnerable to the wind and rain in a way that rocks are not. So as much as I am tempted sometimes, I don’t climb and sit on dunes. I take the path around them, and marvel at the sand mountain that God has placed there. So many wonders that He has made. 🙂 Have a blessed day! Lisa
“But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.” ~Psalm 5:11
A beach where no one seemed to walk,
A church that had few walls but still had beauty,
Souls at rest,
Peaceful day.
Slainte, Lisa
*Postscript: Days like these are why I love Ireland so. So many places that seem untouched by tourism and glitz; just time, history, rocks, water, sky. Quintessential Ireland.
