Jet Streams and the Irish Classic Mineral Water Company

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I hereby present picture exhibit A… lovely jet streams.

And picture exhibit B…an empty bottle of Irish Classic Mineral Water Company’s sparkling pure Irish water with my cup containing said water beside it.

What possible link could there possibly be between the two you ask?  Has this blogger finally lost all sense of reason?

A jet stream remains in the sky, seen and witnessed as plausible proof that a jet had been there.  Yet this must be believed by faith sometimes, as the jet is long gone.

I tell you that the green cup contains the sparkling Irish water that was once in the bottle, yet you have to believe me and take it by faith that that is really what is in there.

Beautiful things all around us(blue skies, amazing creatures, storms, oceans, mountains, brand new babies, bird songs, music, true love, art, sunsets, etc)…………………………………………………………………………….Jesus.

Have a joyful time connecting the dots.  Slainte, Lisa

The Sound Before the Sight

Hearing the sound before the sight

The whirling notes of a great fan in the air

Looking up to see a mass of flight above

Small birds in size, but mighty in number

Flying as one body, with one direction, waving on the wind

The sky rejoices that God has put them there

God rejoices that we notice

We rejoice to see and know and love more

Time and Eternity

Time is precious; time is fleeting.  Some days go quickly, while others drag on.  Yet the sum of life is short.  But before you get too morose in reading this, there is an answer to this, there is more to our story.  “He has made everything beautiful in its time.  God has also set eternity in the hearts of men.”  (Ecclesiastes 3:11a)  and better yet….

Jesus said to her(Martha):  “I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.  Do you believe this?”  (John 11:25-26)

What about you?  What do you think?  Do Jesus’ words make you happy and want to dance, or does this freak you out because you don’t want to hear it or believe it?  If its the second choice, just sit on it awhile, don’t make a quick decision.  Because He loves you so much, even if you don’t always feel it.  He wants to give you a hope for your future…an endless future with no ending and eternal joy and peace.  A future where you don’t have to be afraid ever again.  Slainte, Lisa

The End of Green Cynicism

“Green are the hills of Ireland and green they will always stay. Warm are the blessings wished for you and they’ll always be that way.”

You always hear about the green in Ireland, so much so that you begin to think that it is a cliche, an overexaggeration promoted for tourism.  (ahh…what cynics we can sometimes be 🙂  )  But check out these pictures before deciding for yourself….the greenest of greens.  The only way you won’t like it is if you don’t like green.  But that of course is ridiculous, as green is the most amazing color ever created!  🙂

My little Tinkerbell in the meadow

The nearby mermaid lagoon 🙂

Green leaves as big as elephant’s ears!

So there you go….the end of your green cynicism forever.  I am happy now.  🙂  Slainte, Lisa

The Clearing

Storm clouds roll around.  Rain pours.  Wind howls.  Tornado and flash flood watches issued.  The people huddle down, casting fearful and watchful eyes to the skies.  Mercifully, the storm passes with no lasting damage.  The skies clear, revealing crystal clear air that you can breathe all the way to the very bottom of your lungs.  The bluest of skies intermingles with peach and indigo frontal clouds.  Jet streams play and crisscross in those beautiful skies.  The people are joyful and thankful to be here, to be alive in this great gift of a world that God has made.   Slainte, Lisa

“He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.  They were glad when it grew calm…let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.” (Psalm 107: 29-31)
