Time and Eternity

Time is precious; time is fleeting.  Some days go quickly, while others drag on.  Yet the sum of life is short.  But before you get too morose in reading this, there is an answer to this, there is more to our story.  “He has made everything beautiful in its time.  God has also set eternity in the hearts of men.”  (Ecclesiastes 3:11a)  and better yet….

Jesus said to her(Martha):  “I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.  Do you believe this?”  (John 11:25-26)

What about you?  What do you think?  Do Jesus’ words make you happy and want to dance, or does this freak you out because you don’t want to hear it or believe it?  If its the second choice, just sit on it awhile, don’t make a quick decision.  Because He loves you so much, even if you don’t always feel it.  He wants to give you a hope for your future…an endless future with no ending and eternal joy and peace.  A future where you don’t have to be afraid ever again.  Slainte, Lisa

  1. Amen! I couldn’t agree more! I don’t know how I’d manage without Him….not a god afar off but a God who walks with me every day, who makes a difference in my life. Thanks for the focus this morning 🙂
    AND, Happy Birthday my friend!!!
“From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.” Psalm 71:6

  2. Words to give us all pause for thought and reflection. I was intriged by the three individuals in your photo. The three all look as if they are on a mission, while the couple sitting on the right appear to be ————-? Interesting.

    • Leave it to you to see the cool stuff that I tend to miss….so glad that you are in my life to point these interesting things out to me. 🙂 Love, Lisa

I welcome your thoughts...
