Back to my favorite blog game….the “what is your eye drawn to in the photograph” game! Not a very catchy title, so I must work on that. Anyway, check out our photo of the Bunratty Castle dining room and let me know what your eye is drawn to the most when you look at the picture. Maybe it indicates some deeper meaning, and maybe it doesn’t. 🙂 But it’s fun, and hey, that’s something. Blessings on your day, Lisa

If I Had Known…
Beautiful, But With an Edge
If I Was a Sheep
If I was a sheep, I would eat the grass right in front of me, and then two steps ahead, and then two steps ahead of that.
If I was a sheep, I would walk around in green fields and find contentment with my sheep family.
If I was a sheep, I would lie down at the end of the day, or in the middle of a hot day, and sleep soundly.
If I was a sheep, I would come when my shepherd called me, because I know that he has the good food.
If I was a sheep, I would follow the other sheep and the shepherd into a new and better field without questioning.
I am a sheep, and Jesus is my shepherd. I just need to learn to listen and trust him better. Blessings, Lisa
“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me-just as the Father knows me and I know the Father-and I lay down my life for the sheep.” (John 10:14-15)
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” – Psalm 23:1
On Track

When you’re hiking, you can get lost pretty quickly if you don’t stay on the trail. Things start looking the same and you can get turned around and disoriented. In dancing or figure skating, experts say to keep your eyes fixed on one focal point, so that you won’t get dizzy during spins; it keeps you grounded. In my life, if I take my eyes off God, I can get dizzy and lost and disoriented really quickly. And then I always wonder what happened….how did I get so discouraged? It usually takes me a few days to realize what I did…I lost sight of my focal point, my constant.
“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track.” – Proverbs 3:5-6 (The Message)
I pray that I can keep focused on His voice, and I pray the same for you today. Blessings, Lisa
