We are in the beginning steps of planning out a trip to Donegal and Sligo. These sheep look pretty mellow; I remember as we took their picture, they felt no need to get up or run away. They were just relaxing. It’s hard to do that; just relax, stop worrying, stop working for a moment. There tends to be a running to-do list in my mind. And work is good. But sometimes I need to just sit, pray, breathe, be. …..has got to be a tie between two. Doolin and Portmagee.

Doolin has wonderful a wonderful music shop, pubs, music, and the roar of the ocean at its doorstep.

Portmagee has the Skelligs right offshore, puffins about, towering hills behind the village, fishing boats in the harbor, and great pubs also.
