It had been a long, hard journey across the sea. Two plane flights, a seven hour layover in NJ, a sprained ankle, and three tired children, including a two and a half year old. Procuring a rental car, securing the car seat, pouring over the map to locate the roads to Portmagee, and off we drove. I was determined not to stop until we reached our little cottage. But this view stopped me….Dingle Bay to my right, the wonders of Kerry just around the bend. I was filled with expectation and excitement and awe at the beauty that God has made. My poor worn out two year old and nine year old missed the whole thing, being passed out in the backseat. But the view gave me just enough energy to make it to the aforesaid cottage; knowing what might be just around the bend was exciting and kept me driving on.
Keep on driving today….what’s just around the bend is full of wonder and needs you to discover it. 🙂 Slainte, Lisa
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” – Isaiah 6:3
Beautiful view of both. Ties in well with your post about waiting for the good things in life.
Beautiful…where I’d rather be. Slainte go mhaith!
Thank you! I hope your day is blessed and happy.
