Sheep in Dunfanaghy, at rest and content.

There was a song that my children used to sing with me, “I Just Wanna Be a Sheep, Baa, baa, baa, baa.”  We all loved that song, and I think of it often as it has a lot of truth.

I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa

I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa

Praise the Lord, my soul to keep

I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa,baa

(There are many other verses, but I won’t bore you any more.  heehee)

I am thankful for the brain,  for the reasoning that God gave me as a person, but sometimes it would be so nice to just eat my good grass, walk around a bit, and then lay down contentedly and be happy.  Baaa-lessings to you, Lisa  🙂

Perfect setting, beautiful home, peaceful sheep, towering hillside…

May your day be as peaceful as grazing sheep, as colorful as the red on the home, as lush as the green grass underfoot.  May God smile upon you and be merciful to you.  Lisa

Be at Rest

“Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.
For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling,  that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living.”   ~Psalm 116:7-9
