Sheep in Dunfanaghy, at rest and content.
There was a song that my children used to sing with me, “I Just Wanna Be a Sheep, Baa, baa, baa, baa.” We all loved that song, and I think of it often as it has a lot of truth.
I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa
I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa
Praise the Lord, my soul to keep
I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa,baa
(There are many other verses, but I won’t bore you any more. heehee)
I am thankful for the brain, for the reasoning that God gave me as a person, but sometimes it would be so nice to just eat my good grass, walk around a bit, and then lay down contentedly and be happy. Baaa-lessings to you, Lisa 🙂
Yes, indeed it would. We had a sweet young deer in our back yard this morning, who laid down in front of the garden at the top of our hillside and slept away for 2 or 3 hours, after eating a good breakfast there in the garden! So precious and peaceful!
That’s so sweet. 🙂
