Sheep in Dunfanaghy, at rest and content.
There was a song that my children used to sing with me, “I Just Wanna Be a Sheep, Baa, baa, baa, baa.” We all loved that song, and I think of it often as it has a lot of truth.
I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa
I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa
Praise the Lord, my soul to keep
I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa,baa
(There are many other verses, but I won’t bore you any more. heehee)
I am thankful for the brain, for the reasoning that God gave me as a person, but sometimes it would be so nice to just eat my good grass, walk around a bit, and then lay down contentedly and be happy. Baaa-lessings to you, Lisa 🙂
Breathtaking
Breathtaking….view after view, creation shouting out God’s glory in beautiful harmony of greens, blues, greys. Alive, feeling so much beauty in your heart that you cry happy tears. Wind, so strong and pure that you feel that you can breathe deeper than you ever have before. That’s Ireland. Thank you, God, for making it. Blessings, Lisa
Irish Farm
Perfect setting, beautiful home, peaceful sheep, towering hillside…
A farm seen just outside of Glencolmcille, County Donegal, Ireland
July 2015
May your day be as peaceful as grazing sheep, as colorful as the red on the home, as lush as the green grass underfoot. May God smile upon you and be merciful to you. Lisa
