As a musician, it’s sometimes hard to perform your best when no one seems to be enjoying it. But yet, some of my best times playing music are when it’s just me and God, the stillness of a room, the banging of the piano keys, the not worrying about the performance, just talking in the best way I can to Jesus. To me, the best music is that way….a heartfelt conversation, a pouring out of emotion and feeling and angst and joy and whatever else makes up these human hearts that we have. And all of that is not dependent on crowds or audiences or attention. The One who made us is always listening, always attentive, always ready to hear what we are saying or trying to say. Thank you God. Blessings, Lisa

Step Back
The pier is fuzzy. I’m too close. My camera lens searches and focuses on the water beyond. Clarity, perspective, focus.
Life…sometimes feels fuzzy, unclear, unfocused. Maybe I need to step back a step or two, or twenty, and see it better from further back. Not disconnect, but give it more perspective from not being right on top of each situation. Trusting God more, trusting others to figure things out, trusting that God will work all out for the best end. Easy to say, hard to do. Pray for me, and please always let me know if I can pray for you. Slainte, Lisa
A Warm Autumn Day
I’m late, but not really….the post can wait, the weather couldn’t. 🙂 We had to take advantage of the warm autumn air while we have it. Warm sun, crunchy leaves, perfect blue sky, breeze that lifts your hair and takes it on a little trip….what could be better in November? Thanking God; He is so good. Blessings for your day, and praying you’ve had a great one. Lisa
