When I’m in the midst of winter, sometimes it feels that it will last forever. But every year, I’m wrong! Spring and summer come back, the world warms again, sweaters are gratefully put away, and the warmth floods through my body as a tonic. So on this cold day when we’re calling for 5-8 inches of snow, I need to remember that. It’s coming. There’s a bridge leading to beautiful, it will call my name, and I will walk upon it. 🙂 Blessings, Lisa

My Spot for the Weekend
Today’s the last official day of unofficial Caribbean week on the blog, so I thought I’d better pick out my spot to imagination chill for the weekend. Here it is….I’m sitting beside this big rock on the sand…chair, towel, hat, good book, some imaginary waiter that appears to serve yummy food and drinks, and the water on my feet. And later I’ll jump in the water and let you know how it feels…..wait, wait….I just did. It was great. 😉 Enjoy your days, wherever your feet are. Blessings, Lisa
A Definite Theme…
This week’s posts definitely have a theme going on…I guess it’s my unofficial official Caribbean week! Applause, applause. Because I know that most of us here in the states have been having ridiculously cold temps, and folks in UK, Ireland, and Portugal are having such horrible big storms, I figure we all need to look at some nice warm pictures and just imagine for awhile. 🙂 So fire up that imagination, sit back in your beach chair, and be there! Blessings on your day, Lisa
Pick a Boat…
The Last Mill in Barbados
Barbados has one of the two remaining restored sugar mills in the Caribbean, the Morgan Lewis Windmill. Built 250 years ago, it is a sight to see. We live beside an old flour mill here at home, so it’s always fascinating to me to see other mills. If you’re on the fence about visiting Barbados someday, jump over…it’s a great island! 🙂 Have a wonderful Monday, and may God give you the energy you need to move through your day. Blessings, Lisa
