Sheep in Dunfanaghy, at rest and content.

There was a song that my children used to sing with me, “I Just Wanna Be a Sheep, Baa, baa, baa, baa.”  We all loved that song, and I think of it often as it has a lot of truth.

I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa

I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa, baa

Praise the Lord, my soul to keep

I just wanna be a sheep baa, baa, baa,baa

(There are many other verses, but I won’t bore you any more.  heehee)

I am thankful for the brain,  for the reasoning that God gave me as a person, but sometimes it would be so nice to just eat my good grass, walk around a bit, and then lay down contentedly and be happy.  Baaa-lessings to you, Lisa  🙂

The Arrow

DSCN4045

I love this…the small yellow arrow says one of two things: “Mind your head” or “This is the way”.  Of course it might mean something entirely different, but that’s for other minds than mine.  It reminds me of the verse in Isaiah that says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”  (Isaiah 30:21)  Praying that I will listen to that voice today.  Blessings for your day, every step of your way.  Lisa

Breathtaking

Breathtaking….view after view, creation shouting out God’s glory in beautiful harmony of greens, blues, greys.  Alive, feeling so much beauty in your heart that you cry happy tears. Wind, so strong and pure that you feel that you can breathe deeper than you ever have before.   That’s Ireland.  Thank you, God, for making it.  Blessings, Lisa
