“I lift my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – He who watches over you will not slumber.” ~ Psalm 121:1-3
May your feet be steady and sure, taking every step knowing that God’s got you. Slainte, Lisa
Wonderful Mountain view- Thank you !!!
Thanks, Nigel! This was taken on the long approach (hiking) to Carrantuohill. Have you ever climbed it? I didn’t make it all the way to the top, but my hubby and 7 year old son did and loved it!
Hello 🙂
No, I have been to the area lots but never up the mountains, I must the view’s from the top must be amazing !
Great picture! Is that Ireland. Reminds me a little of Hawaii. Where are the sheep?
The sheep are on the other side of that mountain…this was taken on the approach (over 2 hours of hiking) to get to the base of Carrantuohill in Ireland. I made it a bit farther than this picture was taken, then said, “That’s it…I’m hanging by this lake with these sheep and I’ll see you two when you get back.” 🙂 A good time was had by all. I loved the water, and the guys loved the grueling climb. Go figure. 🙂
What an appropriate scripture for today! Psalm 21 has always been one one of my favorites, for it truly does lift us up and help us see where our real help in life comes from!! Perfect picture for the verse, as well! Thanks for the inspiration, Lisa! Ann
I’m glad you liked it…that verse really encourages me as well. Lisa
