Going On

55.JPG

Following the fence posts, one by one, until the meaning of what they are blurs

Steps, one by one, through soft ground, mire, holes, rises

Keeping hope, without sight, hoping that what is over the rise is better than what is past

Finally, blue and power and water and sky and ease and release

Going on and on and on with God forever

Fresh Wind

Those who know me know that I love the wind.  Cleansing, refreshing, roaring, invigorating wind.

New starts and reinvigorated beginnings feel like fresh wind.  I am so thankful that God gives us that shot in the arm just when we need it.  “The wind blows wherever it pleases.  You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.  So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”  ~Jesus, John 3:8

The Lord Is My Shepherd

1081.JPG

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.  (Psalm 23, KJV)

The Mysteries of God

DSCN3862.JPG

Cloud or mountain….tree or church….the mysteries of God are everywhere

The things we know….or think we know…..are nothing next to what He holds

We can only stand and gaze and wonder….and one day see
