When I’m feeling overwhelmed with the seemingly endless and often routine shopping that surrounds Christmas, this thought grounds me.  If the people I love have Jesus, they have everything.  The only gift that matters in this short life.  He gives eternal life, which is a gift past all imaginings and expectations.  The flash and the sparkle fades away into a wooden manger; peace descends.   Blessings, Lisa
