Majesty

Majesty.  All around.  This particular majestic mountain is  found in Dunlewey (Dun Luiche), Ireland.  Mount Errigal, the tallest mountain in County Donegal.   Creation protraying a glimpse of its amazing Maker.  Have a wonderful weekend, Lisa

“Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.”  ~1 Chronicles 29:11

The Road at Your Feet

1003

“And when you’re traveling along,” she concluded, looking out at the passing fields, “think only of the road at your feet and all that surrounds it, for you may well find the road isn’t half long enough when you make your turn for home.”

~Last of the Donkey Pilgrims,  Kevin O’Hara, c 2004

Yes, I know this is not a picture of a donkey, but it was a fine pony who worked hard in the Gap of Dunloe and had a kind man who took care of him.  As they walked along, the man would talk quietly to the pony and the pony would listen as they traveled the road at their feet.  Enjoy the road that God gives today; rocky or smooth…..part of the journey.  Slainte, Lisa

See It Through to the End

donkeybook

“If God gives you the strength, see it through to the end.  Mind ye, ‘twould come harder on you to travel the fifteen miles back to your starting point than to walk the thousand-odd miles yet before you.”  Last of the Donkey Pilgrims, Kevin O’Hara, c2004

Yes, I’m reading it again.  (fourth time through)  And yes, I’m loving it again.  Who can say what it is about a certain book that makes you love it?  All I know is that I’m happy, and smiling, and chuckling just like the first time I read it.  And I’m glad of it.  Thank you, Kevin O’Hara.

So you might be hearing nuggets of it this week as I rediscover favorite lines along the way.  Yay for donkeys!  🙂  Slainte, Lisa
