These clouds are just begging for someone to take a nice long nap on them. Kick your feet up on the end, sink your head down into the downy precipitation, and rest. The first time that I flew on an airplane as a child, I was alarmed when I saw that we were heading into one of these soft creations. Would we make it through? How would it feel? Passing through on the other side, I was relieved yet somewhat disappointed that the cloud did not hold up like I always imagined it would. Yet I still love to think of me sitting on a cloud, watching the world and all its cares float away. Maybe when we’re with Jesus one day, we’ll be so light and forgiven, that the weight of this world won’t pull us through. We’ll be free to rest on those beautiful puffs of white. Blessings on your day, Lisa

Things We Can’t Know
There are things in this life we cannot know. We can sometimes sense them lingering out of reach, yet near. Like these small homes off in the distance in the picture. We can’t know what’s going on inside these homes, what the people are doing, saying, thinking. Whether they’re at peace or not. But God knows these things. It comes down to faith, trust, belief in Someone greater. He holds the answers, He knows the way it will work, He cares for us enough to give the greatest good in the end. And it won’t just be a pretty picture….it will be the perfect picture. Blessings, Lisa “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” ~Romans 8:28

Green and White and Blue
God sure knew what He was doing when He put green, white, and blue together in the world. Tranquil, peaceful, beautiful, thought-provoking, perfect. Green grass, leaves, trees, newness, life. White puffy clouds that make endless pictures for the imagination, a bed of softness. Blue waters that lie still or rage deeply. That’s our God…the Master of awesomeness. 🙂 Blessings today, Lisa
Changing, Yet Remaining
I’ve been thinking about change. Sand dunes blow, shift, rearrange with time, wind, and water. Yet the essence of the sand dune remains. It’s still sand; it is still present in some form although maybe different. Storms blow through all our lives, rearranging things, shifting priorities, helping us to see what’s really important. Family, friends, Jesus, love, sacrifice for others, giving, smiling, caring….those are the things that remain. Things may look different, but they are really the same. “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these if love.” ~1Corinthians 13:13 Hold on to what remains, and know that no matter what changes come into your life, God’s love for you remains steady and unchanging, always. Slainte, Lisa
