The Love That Never Leaves

Celtic cross in Cong Abbey, County Mayo, Ireland.

If we are honest with ourselves, love is what we all want. Love is what we all are looking for. Love is what fulfills our deepest longings.

This holy week, the week leading up to the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, is all about love. Love that is so deep, so unconditional, so sacrificial, so undeserving, that He was willing to suffer deeply and die. Love that is so strong that death cannot hold it….He burst forth into new forever life on the third day. Love that is always, always there, listening, answering, caring, loving, ready to save.

If you have never had that kind of love before, I encourage you to read about it. Turn to the book of John in the Bible, read about the Lord Jesus. Reading His words is so much better than listening to me talk about it. He is waiting for you. He loves you so much. His love never leaves, no matter what.

He is my hope, my strength, my present and my future. Please write to me if you have any questions or prayer requests or anything.

Never give up hope. Love, Lisa

  1. Love that never lets us go! That is the kind of love our Lord and Savior is always there ready to give to us, if we but seek Him. This post was beautiful, Lisa, and just the one we needed to hear during this Holy Week. May His love bless you and your family this Easter Season in many special ways.

  2. Beautiful and timely message this Holy Week, Lisa. For God SO loved . . . . . . immeasurable. Hard to understand that kind of love. Only God.

I’m so glad to see you back online.

I welcome your thoughts...
