“The Traveler”
c2012 Lisa Lyons
Feet are on the road trying to find a place to breathe,
I know I’m not alone, but it can be so lonely trying to get to the heart of what it means to
travel down this road before me.
Never been this way, but the Light before me keeps on shining…
Love is leading me along; Light is in the evening song.
I will find a place to rest and think and sit a while by the waters still,
By the greenest meadow I have ever seen in all my life
The Peace that fills my soul lets me breathe and breathe again
Like I’ve never felt the air before.
When I’ve reached the end of the road and all the wonderful adventures that I’ve known
And I finally see the One who loves me with a perfect love
Who died so I could live forever with Him in Paradise
Neverending journey, safe in His arms….
Love is leading me along; Light is in the evening song.
Slainte, Lisa

Love the carefree life that the old buggie portrays..bygone days not frogotten.
I agree…it’s amazing how relaxing and hypnotic the sound of the horse’s hooves are as you travel along. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
