You won’t feel its power until you step in. Your feet move past the intitial gentle breaker, and you feel the water surrounding you and the sand under your feet. You let your body float, let the water carry you for a time. Your mind clears, your worries seem very far away. You just feel the water, the sun on your face, the gentle rhythm of the small waves, and the weightlessness.
“Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) If I can be still and quiet and listen, I can feel God’s power and love for me. When I am floating on His ocean, I am closer to being quiet and still than in any other place on earth.

I feel the same way. But a meandering triail in the woods does the same thing for me. I love how God uses nature to show HIMSELF to us.
I agree…it’s all around us. The hardest part for me is just to take the time to slow down and be aware. Have an awesome day! 🙂
I lthink that the picture captured so many diffrent elements of the ocean and was quite striking.
Thanks! I love the different colors in the water…makes me want to jump right in. 🙂
