Grace.  Starting again.  Wiping the slate clean.  A chance to start over.

I don’t know about you, but that is the greatest gift that I can think of.  It seems like I mess up a lot, but God’s forgiveness is there.    “…as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” -Psalm 103:12 He gives me that clean slate; His love for me remains the same; it is not based on how good I am or something amazing that I do or don’t do.

Next time that you are staring out over the water somewhere, ask Him to forgive you, to take it all away, to let you start over.  And you know what?  Jesus will forgive, He will “have compassion on us; [He] will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our sins into the depths of the sea.” – Micah 7:19

And then they’re gone.  Be encouraged!
