Life is everchanging, fast-paced, and sometimes chaotic. In the midst of it all, I need to relax, to refocus on what is really important. What will matter in 10 years, 20, or after I’m gone? Am I noticing the things that are happening around me today, the beautiful and worthwhile things, or am I just worrying about things that I have no control of?

Unchanging, stable, beautiful things ground me, relax me, refocus me. Ireland and its music have weathered and flourished through its long history. Ocean waves keep rolling in, over and over. No matter how many changes have occurred in my life, the ocean remains. God’s love for me never changes; whether I deserve it or not, He loves me, and He always has. Unchanging, unshakeable.
