Living Water

1110

Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”  ~John 7:37-38

“Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”  ~Revelation 22:17

“For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”  ~Revelation 7:17

Encouragement this morning for me and you.  May your day be blessed with a rushing and a quenching of His water.   🙂   Lisa

    • To think of what it will be like…..makes me laugh and smile and have goose bumps and a little nervous in a good way. 🙂 Can’t wait to see Him face to face. And the joy I have in the water now will be multiplied a billion times.

  1. John 4:13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,
14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
One of the best stories ever–Jesus and the woman at the well.

      • I aim to do a post around that story, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Beyond the spiritual side, it says so much to me about communication. Jesus doesn’t argue with her, he doesn’t try to persuade her, he offers her the gift of Himself. So moving!

I welcome your thoughts...
